Lorenzo is an empathetic teacher who delivers the wisdom of Yoga and Ayurveda to find freedom through self-enquiry and awareness. Under watchful guidance, he provides his students with transformational tools to enhance their physical, mental and spiritual health.
With over a decade of studies and experience, Lorenzo became a certified Iyengar Yoga teacher in 2017 and attained Level 2 in 2019. His formation as a teacher consisted of a long, uninterrupted apprenticeship with his mentor in Sydney, teaching classes as well as attending teacher training for over six years. He undertook a Yoga therapy mentorship in 2019, which gave him a deeper understanding of how Yoga can assist those suffering from different health conditions. As part of his ongoing education, Lorenzo made multiple trips to India where he studied in RIYMI, the Iyengar Yoga Institute in Pune, to further develop his skills.
Fascinated by the philosophical and esoteric components of the Yoga tradition, Lorenzo continuously draws inspiration from ancient texts such as The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, The Hatha Pradipika, Siva Samhita and Gheranda Samhita. These treatises form the basic metaphysical ground from which all modern practices stem.
In 2022 Lorenzo graduated from prestigious AIAS Ayurvedic college as an Ayurvedic consultant and started integrating Yoga and Ayurveda modalities together. His holistic approach employs personalised Yoga programmes, treatment plans, medicinal herbs and bodywork to meet individual needs.
Lorenzo believes truth and knowledge are to be found through continuous learning. He regularly attends workshops, study groups and webinars with internationally renowned teachers to expand and refine his skills.
Lorenzo shares the knowledge of Yoga and Ayurveda in a practical and useful way that anyone can apply to their life. He believes that everyone, no matter what age, background or condition, can benefit from these ancient yet timeless practices.
